On the morning of our scheduled time for the tram to go up the Arch (it is recommend to schedule these in advance as they often sell out!), we just walked out the front door of our hotel right to the Arch entrance. It was mesmerizing the see the colors change as sunset fell. We loved sitting out here relaxing each evening high above the plaza, with a beautiful view of the Gateway Arch.
